Frontiers of Architectural Research（建筑学研究前沿，FoAR）是由东南大学建筑学院和高等教育出版社联合主办的全英文学术期刊，已被A&HCI、Scopus、CSCD、DOAJ收录。FoAR 于2012年创刊，季刊（一年四期），在Elsevier平台上发行，开放获取（Open Access）。
期刊论文涉及领域包括建筑设计与理论、建筑技术科学、城市规划、风景园林、遗产保护等，覆盖建筑学、城乡规划和风景园林三个一级学科。本刊优先发表采用严格科学方法和前沿技术进行研究的学术论文，同时也欢迎探讨建筑社会属性的高水平文章。

截止到2020年12月21日，FoAR总共收到来自67个国家（地区）的投稿655篇，发稿60篇，拒稿率90%以上。

已刊出60篇论文的国家分布：
中国11篇，英国，土耳其，印度各4篇，西班牙，墨西哥，荷兰，澳大利亚各3篇，美国，新加坡，巴西，埃及，伊朗，约，沙特各2篇，德国、法国、波兰、葡萄牙、加拿大、日本、韩国、新西兰、阿联酋、阿尔及利亚、伊拉克各1篇。
FoAR是在Elsevier平台的开放获取期刊（Open Access Journal），所有论文均提供免费下载和阅读。截止到2020年11月30日，FoAR总下载量达到828,719次。自2012年创刊以来，全球总下载量达到367万余次，按照已经发表文章406篇计算，平均单篇下载量达到9000余次。

由于A&HCI不提供影响因子，我们使用国际上有权威的影响力指标，如CiteScore和Google Scholar Metrics来进行评价。2019年FoAR在CiteScore中取得2.6的好成绩，并预测2020年将会达到3.0的高分。另外在CiteScore各专业的排名中，FoAR分别排在Architecture第16名（总数126），Urban Studies第45名（总数200）以及Building and Construction第63名（总数174）。2019年FoAR在Google Scholar的建筑类期刊排名第5，h5-index系数为19，并列第3。
